A Quiet Roar

A Quiet Roar is an award-winning short documentary and photo series focused on young activists.

Through hand-stitched photographic portraits and intimate short films, the project explores the moment when personal history becomes political action, shaped by the urgency for change. Produced during the height of the pandemic with a minimal crew, the films were created by John, working across directing, filming, photography, and editing.
